We recommend that you read these Terms and Conditions before using any of the features on our Website. Your use of our Website constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If these Terms and Conditions are not accepted in full, you do not have permission to access our Website, and the material contained therein, and your use of the Website should cease immediately.

All material on this Website belongs to The Promethean Classroom, and should be treated as such. Material on this Website must not be copied, reproduced, published or republished, posted, uploaded, distributed or transmitted, modified, manipulated or reverse-engineered. Any use of the material on this site must be for personal, non-commercial use.  Unauthorised use of material on this Website as detailed above constitutes a breach of copyright and associated intellectual property rights.

USER CONTENT

  1. Where our Website requires users to provide their personal details, users must provide accurate and complete information. It is their responsibility to ensure that such information is up to date, and we accept no liability in the case of out-of-date information.

  2. When providing personal details, users will not impersonate any other person or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity, or misrepresent the identity of a user or use a false e-mail address,

Our Website is provided on an ‘as is’ basis, without any express or implied warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that our Website will be error-free, or that any of the material therein is accurate.

We provide no warranty in respect of our sites, our content, our software, or our services; we disclaim all liability connected with use of this Website to the extent permitted by law. Your use of this Website constitutes your acceptance to indemnify us against anything that arises out of a breach by you of these Terms and Conditions.

 

OUR SERVICES

 

In consideration of our Services, users hereby agree:

 

  1. to release, indemnify, and discharge The Promethean Classroom, on behalf of yourself, your spouse, and your children

  2. users represent and have full authority as parent or legal guardian of the workshop participant

  3. users voluntarily accept and assume any and all risks, both known and unknown, of injuries or other loss or damage that may be suffered by your child while participating in services offered by The Promethean Classroom, however caused, unless such is due to the gross negligence of The Promethean Classroom. 

  4. users understand that risks are part of the core program provided by The Promethean Classroom and you expressly accept and assume all the risks existing in these activities.  Such risks include, but are not limited to insect/animal bites, falls and other injuries resulting from general outdoor exposure.

  5. users certify that workshop participants are in sufficient physical condition for the activities in which they will be participating and certify that they do not have any medical condition that may preclude them from safely participating.

  6. users, on behalf of the listed minors, expressly and voluntarily agree to waive any and all claims, suits or demands for personal injury, property damage, medical expenses or other loss against The Promethean Classroom, including but not limited to any and all supervision and/or instruction, faulty equipment, or the activities of others. 

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this waiver is intended to be a complete release of The Promethean Classroom for any and all responsibility for personal injuries, property damage or loss, or death sustained by workshop participants whilst attending The Promethean Classroom workshops.  If any portion of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable by Singapore law, the remaining portion shall remain in full force and effect.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

 

All payments for workshops are to be made at least 5 days before the commencement of a workshop.  Once payment is processed, there will be no refunds.   Make-up classes can be offered upon request with The Promethean Classroom.

PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEO CONSENT

 

As part of The Promethean Classroom workshops, we will take photographs of children and their progress in the programs for the purpose of sharing these photos and videos with parents or guardians as a means of Parent/Carer communication and also for promoting the business of The Promethean Classroom on social media platforms, website publications and marketing material. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, users are giving consent for this to take place. Should users wish to withdraw consent to use photographs or videos of their children, please inform us personally
